Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Groysman has called on the unified territorial communities and local self-government bodies to intensify the use of mechanisms of international aid.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada said this at the roundtable entitled "100 days of unified territorial communities: achievements, problems and prospects" on Tuesday.

"It is very important for each of the present here, each local self-government body, representative of unified territorial communities to directly trigger one or several international projects — as you need new knowledge and real experience," he said.

Groysman said that the international partners are ready to help Ukrainian unified territorial communities, in particular, in creation of administrative service centers. "Those, who advance, those, who will be ambitious, will obtain international support," he noted.

The Chairperson of the Ukrainian Parliament said that the city of Vinnytsia managed to attract UAH 700 million of international assistance in the field of health care and energy efficiency. "Each of you can do the same. Thus, I call on you to move forward," he noted.

The Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada advised the Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Public Utility Economy Ministry of Ukraine to determine the technical aid unified territorial communities could receive and create a coordination mechanism of work with international partners.

Besides, Groysman thanked Ukraine's international partners: the European Union, EU countries, the United States, Canada, Japan for their support to Ukraine "on current important path of reforms."
